Aura Outdoor (Pty) Ltd, trading as Aura Outdoor Advertising ("Aura Outdoor", "we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through auraoutdoor.co.za, why we collect it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect:

• your name
• your company name (optional)
• your phone number
• your email address
• the type of advertising you are interested in
• anything you write in the message field

Our website server also records standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.

Why we collect it

We use your information only to:

• reply to your enquiry and send you the sites, rates or proposals you asked for
• manage any advertising booking you make with us
• keep our website secure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We will only send you marketing if you ask for it or agree to it, and every marketing message will let you opt out.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers who help us run our business, under confidentiality obligations. These are our website and email hosting provider, and, when you book a campaign, the media owners and suppliers needed to deliver it. Our website loads fonts from Google, which may receive your IP address in the process.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any resulting business, and for no longer than 2 years after our last contact, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

How we protect it

Our website uses an encrypted connection (SSL), and access to enquiries is limited to Aura Outdoor staff who need it.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask what personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct or delete it
• object to us using it for marketing
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
